What makes a handwoven piece perfect for the table? It needs to look beautiful, feel good in your hands, but also lay flat, absorb spills, and most importantly stand up to repeated use and washing! This project checks all the boxes. Made of durable cotton in an absorbent waffle weave, it is functional as well as beautiful. You can use it for placemats, for napkins, a table runner... anything you need for your table!
Each kit contains enough yarn to make four placemats OR fourĀ napkins
Finished Dimensions:Ā 18 X 13 inches, plus fringe (placemats) or 13 X 13 inches (napkins)
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
To weave this project, you will need access to a four-shaft loom with a minimum weaving width of 20 inches, as well as an 8 or 12 dent reed.
